This module allows you to upload, view, edit, and manage your scopes of work and access the Connexus base scope of work files.
Creating a Scope of Work to Create Your Client Scope Library
The Client Scope Library is a quick and efficient tool that helps you build a complete Scope of Work using standardized templates your company already has on file. Follow the steps below to create, customize, and upload your Scope of Work.
- Access the Client Scope Library
- Navigate to the Scope of Work tab.
- Click Client Scope Library.
- Select the Service Category
- Identify the service you need in the Services column.
- Click on the corresponding template to open and review the standard Scope of Work your company has saved.
- Review and Edit the Template
- Look through the Scope of Work template to ensure it aligns with your property’s needs.
- If adjustments are needed—such as extending the service season—click Edit.
- Once changes are complete, click Download PDF to save the updated Scope of Work.
- Create the Client Scope of Work
- Close out the template view and click Create.
- Select Client Scope of Work.
- Enter Scope Details
- Complete the required fields: Service Category, Service, Name, and Property/ properties
- Upload the Final Scope of Work
- Drag and drop the Scope of Work PDF you downloaded into the file upload section, or select the file manually.
- Once uploaded, the Scope of Work is officially added to the property record.
Creating a Scope of Work Using the AI Scope of Work Generator
- Create a New Client Scope of Work
- Click Create and select Client Scope of Work from the dropdown.
- Enter Basic Scope Details
- Complete the required fields: Service Category, Service, Name of the Scope of Work, and Properties/ Property.
- Generate Scope Using AI
- Click Create Scope of Work Using AI.
- The system will present a series of questions
- Provide the answers to the questions
- Once all responses are filled in, select the blue button to generate your AI-created Scope.
- Review and Edit the Draft Scope
- The AI will create a draft Scope of Work, displayed on the right side of the screen.
- To make edits:
- Update any field on the left panel.
- Click Send to apply the changes.
- You can continue refining until the scope meets your needs.
- Fine-Tune or Manually Edit Details
- If you see additional adjustments needed, use the editing tools in the upper-right corner.
- Confirm your edits using the checkmark, and the AI will update the scope automatically.
- Finalize the Scope of Work
- Once you are satisfied with the content, click Generate Scope of Work.
- Your finalized scope will be created and saved in the system.
Creating a Scope of Work Using the Connexus Scope Library
This guide walks you through building a complete, property-specific Scope of Work using the Connexus Scope Library.
- Access the Connexus Scope Library
- Navigate to the Scope of Work tab in the Connexus platform
- Select Connexus Scope Library.
- Choose a Service Category
- Browse the list of available service categories.
- Select the service you need to create a Scope of Work for.
- Open the template to view the full scope.
- Review the content to ensure it meets your property’s needs.
- Download the Template
- If the scope looks correct, click Download to save the Scope of Work file for your property.
- Create a Client Scope of Work
- Navigate to Client Services on the platform.
- Select Client Scope of Work.
- Click Create to begin a new Scope of Work entry.
- Enter Scope Details
- Complete the required fields: Service Category, Service, Scope Name, and Property.
- Complete the required fields: Service Category, Service, Scope Name, and Property.
- Upload the Scope of Work Document
- Under the file upload section, select Upload.
- Attach the Scope of Work file you downloaded from the Connexus Scope Library.
- The uploaded scope will now appear in your Client Scope of Work record.
Editing the Properties the Scope of Work applies to:
- In the Scope of Work Module, click on the Client Scope of Work tab.
- Locate the Scope of Work you want to update using one of the following options.
- Option 1: Search by service.
- Option 2: Search by Scope of Work title.
- Option 3: Sort the table by one or more fields to find the desired Scope of Work
- Once the Scope of Work is located, scroll to the far right of the row and click the three-dot menu.
- Select Edit, or click the pen (Edit) icon in the upper-right corner to open the Scope of Work for editing.
- Scroll to the Property List section and select the properties to assign the scope to:
- Click Select All to apply the scope to all properties, or
- Select individual properties as needed.
- Once all preferred properties are selected, click Update Scope of Work to save your changes.
- The Scope of Work is now applied to the selected properties.
Applying a Scope of Work Details to Multiple Properties at a Time
- In the Scope of Work Module, click on the Client Scope of Work tab.
- Locate the Scope of Work you want to update using one of the following options.
- Option 1: Search by service.
- Option 2: Search by Scope of Work title.
- Option 3: Sort the table by one or more fields to find the desired Scope of Work
- Once the Scope of Work is found, click on the row.
- The screen will open to the full Scope of Work Detail page. Select the “View Scope of Work” from the Property you want to copy the Scope of Work from.
- The white box is showing the Scope of Work you are looking at, in this example, the one for The Ironwood Lofts.
- To copy the Scope of Work to other properties, click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.
- Choose “Copy to Other Properties”.
- You can then search for a Property in the Search Bar and select from the list one or multiple properties to apply the scope to.
- Then select “Confirm”. The Scope of Work has now been copied to the selected properties.
Editing the Scope of Work Details
- In the Scope of Work Module, click on the Client Scope of Work tab.
- Locate the Scope of Work you want to update using one of the following options.
- Option 1: Search by service.
- Option 2: Search by Scope of Work title.
- Option 3: Sort the table by one or more fields to find the desired Scope of Work
- Once the Scope of Work is found, click on the row.
- On the Scope of Work Detail, select the Property to which you want to edit the Scope of Work.
- The white box is showing the Scope of Work you are looking at, in this example, the one for The Ironwood Lofts.
- To edit the Scope of Work, click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and select Edit Scope of Work.
- The screen below will open, allowing you to make edits. The Scope of Work editor functions like Microsoft Word, allowing you to type, delete, or format content.
- Once you’ve finished editing, click Save to apply the updates for that property. There will not be a pop-up to indicate that it has been saved.
- Click “X” to exit the editor. The edit to the Scope of Work has now been made.
Additional Functionality in the Scope of Work Module
Use other available actions (if needed) from the same three-dot menu. You can also:
- View Updated History – Review who made changes to the Scope of Work, when they made them, and even access the version before changes were made.
- Download – Export the Scope of Work document into a PDF or a Doc. This can allow you to make changes to the Scope of Work outside of the Connexus System and then re-upload it to the Scope of Work file.
